Tips for a great School Portrait Day
No need to tell your kids to smile or practice smiles. This can sometimes put pressure on kids or force the "cheeeeese" smile. Instead, tell them to have fun. The smiles will happen.
Have them choose what to wear. You of course can preselect some options. Having them a part of the what to wear process helps kids get excited and feel in control about being photographed.
Hair bows are great accesory. It's best to keep them on the smaller side if possible and not sitting too high off the top of your child's head.
Kids might get anxious with a change in schedule. Reassure your kids that this will be a fun activity that all their friends and even teachers are having a turn at.
